At VitalWear, we understand that comfort isn’t a luxury in healthcare—it’s essential.
Our story began in Adelaide, rooted in the lived experience of someone who works within the healthcare system every day. As both a student Registered Nurse and practicing enrolled nurse, our founder witnessed the profound physical and emotional demands placed on healthcare professionals. Through countless shifts in hospitals and aged care facilities, one truth became undeniable: healthcare workers dedicate everything to caring for others, often at the expense of their own comfort and wellbeing.
The demanding nature of healthcare—long shifts, endless movement, and the weight of responsibility—deserved more than scrubs that simply “did the job.” It called for garments that truly supported those who provide care.
This insight, combined with an entrepreneurial vision, gave birth to VitalWear. We set out to create something beyond traditional medical uniforms—we wanted to build a brand that represents genuine appreciation for healthcare professionals.

A Note from Our Founder
Dear fellow healthcare professionals,
As a nurse working in Adelaide hospitals and aged care facilities, I experienced firsthand what we all know: 12-hour shifts, endless steps, and the weight of caring for others. I watched colleagues push through discomfort, always putting patients first.
That’s when it hit me—we spend so much energy caring for everyone else, but who’s caring for us?
This realization sparked VitalWear. I didn’t want to create just another scrubs company. I wanted to build something that truly understands what healthcare workers need: clothing that supports you through your toughest days.
Every design choice comes from real hospital floor experience. When you put on VitalWear scrubs, I want you to feel supported, comfortable, and ready to focus on what you do best caring for others.
